History of the Barritts

The name 'Barritt' (with its various spellings) can be traced back into the depths of pre-history, to an ancient Canaanite God and his followers. It is conected to the Ark, the Covenant, the Deluge, and ruling dynasties in India and Britain. The God Barit has been demonised by various churches throughout history; his habit of starting frenzied orgies in medieval nunneries has not generally been appreciated by the Powers That Be.
